We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading contractors to secure an experienced Fit Out Manager to join their team working on a major scheme near Sheffield.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering construction projects of over £10m in value as part of an on-site team, reporting to the Project Manager and managing the sub-contractors for the Fit Out Managers designated sections of work. The Fit Out Manager will be responsible for the delivery on time, defect free and to budget their designated sections of work. You’ll be holding, attending and chairing sub-contract meetings for their designated sections of work and producing internal reports to the Project Manager.
You will also communicate effectively with the sub-contractors ensuring project requirements are met, review site wastage, and review and manage H&S procedures. Administrative assistance will be provided to the Fit Out Manager.
Applicants should possess valid CSCS, First Aid and SMSTS qualifications as a minimum and be able to demonstrate at least five years’ experience in a similar role with a UK based contractor or developer working on High Rise Mixed Use schemes.
If you are able to demonstrate good managerial skills you will have the opportunity to progress to Project Manager level.
This role is offering a salary of up to £48,000 plus benefits.
