Potensis Selection are pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor position at an industry leading mixed-use developer. With a focus on high-quality, you'll enjoy a dynamic environment with varied responsibilities, based in the Kent region.

Main Responsibilities:
•    Cost Estimation & Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets throughout the project lifecycle.
•    Procurement & Contract Management: Source, negotiate & review contracts with multiple stakeholders such as suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
•    Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or design integrity and mitigate potential financial risks and maximize project profitability.
•    Cost Control: Monitor project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on budget.
•    Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and updates for project stakeholders, providing insights into cost performance and forecasting future expenditures.
•    Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and industry standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

Key Experience:
Ideal candidates will have experience working for a residential developer or a main/sub-contractor, working on residential and commercial projects as a Quantity Surveyor or are an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor seeking career progression.
