My client are a leading national Residential developer who are looking to recruit a Field Service Technician to join them on a permanent basis. The Field Service Technician is a customer service facing role and the customers expect their homes to be of a high standard. You will be making sure they are by being on hand with answers and practical help. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to carry out the following:

  • Represent and promote the company values effectively being a Brand Ambassador.
  • Diagnose and resolve defects in an efficient and timely manner to the customers satisfaction.
  • Ensure that existing furniture is protected before carrying out any works.
  • Work safely in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policies.
  • Liaise and coordinate joint attendances with sub-contractors.
  • Attend all appointments on time.
  • Ensure personal appearance is exemplary at all times.
  • Maintain van and make sure it’s in good order
  • Liaise with Service Coordinators to ensure that PAT testing is carried out within the correct time lines.
  • Provide out of hours cover.
  • Ensure that any customer feedback or comments are noted and reported back into the business via appropriate channels.
  • Provide cover for Field Service Managers carrying out inspections and relaying findings, next actions to all parties.
  • Oversee any projects as directed by Senior Field Service Manager ensuring all trades are performing to programme.
  • Assist Field Service Managers on an ad hoc basis
  • Keep clients fully informed and updated throughout works programme.
  • Further ad hoc duties maybe required to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

In order to be considered for the role, you will need to have the following:

  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence
  • Be customer Focused
  • Problem solver and innovative thinker
  • Driven, organised and self-motivated with good time management skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work safely unsupervised
  • Must have own tools
