Senior Site Manager – Residential Developer

 Bishops Waltham, Hampshire

Start date: ASAP

Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm


We are currently working with one of the UK’s biggest residential developers who are looking for a project manager to take a new build retirement residential project from start to finish.

The project will be 69 units, a mix of high-end houses and apartments. You will oversee the sub-contractors and an assistant site manager.

You would be needed on a permanent basis to oversee the project and site team from groundworks to completion. The project is expected to last around 2 years.


Candidate experience MUST include:

  • Experience on residential projects
  • Experience being no1 on site
  • Taking projects from start to finish
  • Experience with groundworks, externals and internals


Duties will include:

• Manage the sub-contractors throughout the process.

• Ensuring that your project is completed efficiently and within a manageable time frame, by arranging regular progress reports, and compiling information from internal teams.

• Monitor site performance in line with the build programme and address any issues causing delays

• Effectively manage the site management team and labour force, ensuring that they are fully resourced with clear guidelines of their own responsibilities whilst providing full support to achieve their deadlines as well as providing effective communication, training and development
