Communications Executive – Residential Developer - £30,000 + Bonus + Benefits


 

We are currently working with a leading residential and mixed-use developer, who are looking to expand their existing group communications team by recruiting a communications executive to work on a number of high profile, interesting projects.

 

This is a remote role, however travel in to their London office will be necessary once a month.

 

The business is a residential developer, with offices and developments across the UK. They a FTSE 100 company, and have won awards ranging from resident satisfaction to quality of work.

 

The business is currently handling a wide variety of communication projects and as such has set up a dedicated unit to ensure consistency and clarity. As such, the unit covers all of their areas, from Exeter to Aberdeen.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The role will involve composing and implementing communication strategies for a wide variety of projects. This involve reviewing enquiries and composing appropriate responses which will be issued to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. The role will also include managing, following and updating the communications tracker for stakeholder and media enquiries and a communications calendar for multiple projects.

 

In addition, you will:

  • Regularly prepare and deliver reports on communications activity across the relevant projects
  • Track media coverage and industry news, and sharing relevant pieces on a weekly or monthly basis
  • Support the delivery of project specific internal communications
  • Support in the delivery of events, including site visits
  • Produce additional content and carry out additional duties on an ad hoc basis, where appropriate
  • Promote and act in accordance with client values, systems, policies and procedures

 

Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, including copywriting and editing skills. Alongside this, candidates should be well organised, skilled in planning for both themselves and others, and have strong attention to detail across all aspects of work.


The candidate should be a strong team player, and an assertive individual. They should be capable of influencing others and building strong relationships and networks – both internally and externally.

 

A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams is necessary as is the ability to produce copy which is accurate, consistent ad concise.
