Technical Manager – Successful House Builder - £55,000 to £80,000 + Healthcare, Car Allowance, and 25 Days Holiday
We are currently working with a very successful housebuilder operating in Kent who are looking for a Technical Manager due to the promotion of a team member.
Responsibilities will include:
The role of a Technical Manager is to provide relevant input on land buying, presenting designs and working drawings to engineers and architects for project developmental success. Requirements will be briefed to architects, engineers, and
external design consultants, who will be managed to ensure appropriate project information is provided.
This job specifically will entail running a new housing site of 200 units.
Additionally, you will:
Identify and implement ways to maximize value and manage cost through design process,
Work with a team of technical coordinators to review project drawings and reports.
Issue documentation and plans to site teams, handling any potential queries in the build process.
Work with consultants to manage project development.
Oversee technical assessment for land bids.
Liaise with the technical director to ensure consistency across multiple projects.
Candidates should have:
Worked with a housing developer previously.
Experience in either architecture or engineering.
A background in technical roles such as coordinator, manager, or similar.
Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
The ability to work well under pressure.
Rewards and Recognition
Basic salary of £55,000 - £80,000
Car allowance of £6,500
25 days of annual leave
