Technical Co-ordinator

We are currently working with a residential developer seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their growing business. You will join a company with strong financial backing and an extensive pipeline of current and future work. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of technical drawings, with a good understanding of residential development construction.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to…

• To assist in the management of external consultants and production of drawings for the design of site developments
• Liaise, appoint and coordinate external professionals
• The procurement of working drawings and associated information that enables a site commencement and issue externally supplied information
• Coordinate the production of layouts and working drawings
• Assist in the fee negotiation and appointment of consultants
• Ensure updated group drawings are issued in accordance with department procedures

Our client is looking for an individual with a good technical or architectural skillset, grounded within either an architectural practice or already working for a developer. They will also consider individuals who are at an assistant level looking to step up and further their careers with a developer who can offer them a platform to further their career.

The role with require you offer assistance in appointing teams of design architects and hand picking architectural practices to draw up detailed designs of complex residential developments. You will also be required to give expert assistance and offer advice to the build team regarding technical issues that arise during the delivery phase, and you will also be asked to liaise with commercial and land teams, and offer support to them, and assess feasibility on your projects.
