Planner – Stamford - £50,000 + Benefits – Permanent

 

Potensis are currently working with a FTSE 100 national housebuilder, who specialises in producing large-scale housing projects across the South Midlands. This region has grown significantly in the last few years and are an award-winning 5-star housebuilder who have won numerous industry awards in recent years. 

 

Specifically, we are searching for a Planner to join their successful business. Please see the information below regarding the role;

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the day-to-day promotion of all current planning applications
  • Produce planning documentation, collate supporting technical information and submit applications
  • Liaise with local planning authorities and consultants to ensure the successful outcome of the planning application process
  • Management of external consultants involved in planning applications
  • Liaise with the relevant departments and team members on the project to identify opportunities on existing sites and progress the planning application

To be successful in the role, we are looking for: 

  • Planner with or working towards RTPI membership
  • Experience with a local authority, house builder or private consultancy
  • Experience in planning policy/development management 
  • Excellent communication, project management, influencing and negotiation skills

You must also hold a valid driver’s licence.
