Our client, who are one of the UK’s leading contractors are looking for a Site Manager for their Social Housing refurbishment scheme in the North West London region. You will be overseeing the full decent homes contract worth approximately £7/10 million. You will be covering all internal works such as kitchen and bathroom works, redecoration and re wiring. You will also cover external works such as windows, doors, pitched roofing and fabrications. There will also be fire risk assessment works (FRA) as well as major voids that will include structural alterations to properties. Managing various specialist sub-contractors and a team of Resident Liaison Officers, you will be responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety will be adhered to at all times and that the project runs to speed and programme. You will have regular progress meetings with client and sub-contractors and it is essential that you have a proven track record in the decent homes/refurbishment sector at Site Manager level along with SMSTS, CSCS, 1st Aid and Asbestos awareness qualification. This is a long term position (1 year +) that could realistically become temporary to permanent.
