We are currently recruiting a number of Construction Graduates for a leading, National Residential Developer for their region based in Dorset.

Our client are an experienced sustainable property development company, building very high quality homes and mixed use developments.

The current capability will deliver in excess of 200 homes a year and we currently have a pipeline of approximately 2,000 homes. Priding themselves on being industry recognised developers having received over a dozen major building awards in recent years.

Roles & Responsibilities of a Technical Coordinator:

  • Assisting in the selection and appointment of external design consultants to facilitate successful delivery of the design of a project or projects through preparation of the project scoping documentation
  • Ensuring timely preparation of all design information including specifications, details and subsequent monitoring and communication of all information to the development and construction team
  • Managing the building control submissions, approvals and NHBC processes
  • Audit designs
  • Maintaining the essence of the concept design during the process
  • Resolving technical enquiries from Commercial or Build Team through change requests


  • 1st or 2:1 Construction, Architectural or Engineering Related degree – Required
  • Commercial experience or placement within a Residential Developer or PLC – Preferred
  • Self-confident, articulate, resilient and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A lateral and innovative thinker; sees change as an opportunity and challenge for the business
  • Able to work on own initiative, with the drive to take ownership of projects
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to build effective and mutually beneficial working relationships both internally and externally
  • Able to rapidly absorb new and complex information with ease and speed to conduct an incisive analysis
  • Displays energy and enthusiasm to deliver goals and achievements
  • Driven, self-motivated and results driven for self and business

This position is offering a salary of up to £30,000 basic plus bonus and benefits.
