Chief Buyer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected, privately owned residential developer based in Kent who build c100 units per year. Their product is mainly housing with some low-rise apartment schemes.

Due to company growth and expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Chief Buyer to lead and manage a team of Buyers and Senior Buyers

The role will entail managing the team effectively in ensure that they:

• Oversee the buying team and manage effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met and sites are sourced with all materials.
• Attend meeting Group meetings
• Meet with Suppliers to source Group Deal.
• Understand and have full knowledge of the buying process.

Candidates will need to have worked for a leading residential developer in a Buying Manager or Senior Buying role.
