REC - Recruitment and Employment Confederation
The REC is the professional body for the recruitment industry with a history spanning 80 years. Our membership means we abide by their official Code of Professional Practice which aims to raise industry standards. By working in concert with the REC, we are kept up to date with legislative changes to ensure we can act in the best interests of our clients and jobseekers.
AER - Association of Executive Recruiters
The AER is a specialist sector group of the REC and the professional body of the search and selection industry. The association sets the standards for executive recruitment, search and selection.

Potensis are proud members of Investors in People and have received a Silver Award under their accreditation scheme. Only 600 firms in the UK hold this level of accreditation. The accreditation represents our commitment to our employees, continuous improvement and development and the quality of work that we undertake on behalf of our clients.
Potensis is accredited by the following Health and Safety bodies:
SAFEContractor is a H&S accreditation scheme and SSIP assessment programme. They promote higher standards of competence and compliance through industry specific assessments. The assessment includes a full review and audit of health and safety policies, procedures and the documentation of contractors.
SMAS (Safety Management Advisory Services)
SMAS is a nationally recognised H&S certificate through a SSIP Member Scheme. Membership ensures that a company is Stage 1 H&S compliant under CDM 2007. This includes a full audit of
Policies, method statements, risk assessments, training, insurances, sub-contractor assessment processes and accident records.
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme)
CHAS guarantees contractors are compliant with core H&S criteria. Members are required to meet criteria described in the CDM regulations through assessment of their H&S policy. Assessors consider each organisation on an individual basis, taking into account specific arrangements and whether they are adequate.
The Mayor of London's Green Procurement Code
The Mayor of London's Green Procurement Code has a target of reducing London's carbon emissions by 60% by 2025. This is to be achieved by green procurement practices. Potensis selects its suppliers against environmental criteria in support of this initiative.
