Maintaining strong client relationships and securing repeat business from our key clients is a major part of our success, to help us achieve this we appoint partnership managers to act as a point of contact for our clients.  We currently have a vacancy in our London office for a working with one of our biggest client accounts.

Our London office is within easy reach of London Waterloo, London Bridge and London Blackfriars over ground stations and close to local amenities including Borough Market, the Tate Modern and the South Bank area. The role will report into one of our directors and be involved in managing key accounts for the business.


The role

The purpose of the training manager role is to primarily lead and develop the training across the business.  The role will liaise with managing consultants to determine training needs and deliver training in conjunction with development road maps.  In addition, the successful candidate will liaise with all managing consultants within the business to design and implement training programs for the internal delivery of training to consultants.  The training manager will be the point of contact for all training queries within the London office and will play an operational role in the business through direct line management of a small team of entry level recruiters as well as providing assistance to all line managers on recruitment & training needs.


Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver the first 12 week training program for the researcher/ entry level consultant department.
  • Assess the road development training and amend as needs are identified.
  • Liaise with senior researchers to determine training needs and deliver ad hoc training as required.
  • Maintain training records for all staff and assist with any training initiatives, as required
  • Assist in production of promotion requirements for developing staff.
  • Assist in the updating of training manuals and ensure all trainers are informed of changes. 
  • Track and maintain all records of training activities for each training delegate within the business.
  • Liaise with all managing consultants to agree upon training plans for all consultants within the business, ensuring timely delivery on these.
  • Deliver training at management level to assist all line managers as required.
  • Manage any external training agencies and ensure training ties in with the needs of the business and stays within budget.
  • Carry out review meetings with newly promoted consultants with line managers 3 and 6 months after promotion, helping to deliver agreed action points and training requirements




Ideally you will have experience in a similar role in a recruitment environment.  You should possess good interpersonal skills and be both confident and credible.
