I am currently recruiting for a Repairs service advisor to join my clients business in Construction and property (repairs and maintenance) be based in Tunbridge wells on a 6 month fixed term contract.
As a repairs service advisor you will be primarily telephone based, being the first point of contact with tenants of Town & Country Housing Group. We undertake around 1,000 responsive repairs a month involving call taking, diagnosing, processing repair requests, allocating jobs to the operatives using a diary system, and co-ordinating the operatives. The nature of responsive repairs creates the need to work in a fast moving and sometimes challenging environment. We are striving to be an excellent service provider and therefore performance and customer service is paramount. There will be the need to undertake some administrative duties but flexibility within the role will be required.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience in a customer service environment
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Ability to deal with difficult calls
Some knowledge of repairs
Plan and time manage own workload
Experience working with different IT systems
Experience working with a Contractor or within a Housing Association beneficial but not essential
Possess good interpersonal skills and work in a busy team environment
Be prepared to be flexible around the role in meeting the needs of a maintenance office
Respond and resolve any issues adopting a pragmatic and straight forward manner.
Well organised and attention to detail particularly around data entry
