We are recruiting on behalf of a leading housebuilder in Surrey who are looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer.

It will be a proactive role in assisting the Senior Buyer to ensuring materials are bought effectively and communication between all sites and suppliers is maintained to a high level.

The role will entail material scheduling, attending site meetings with construction staff, dealing with group deals & meetings and a small amount of subcontract buying.

Experience of working for a residential developer, main contractor, sub-contractor or social housing contractor as an Buyer. We will also look at someone from a builders merchant background.

Our client are an industry leading developer in the process of setting up an office to produce homes from 1 to 12 storeys. The region will have the capacity to produce 400 homes a year and will hold the key for the company’s internal development pipeline.

The successful candidate will be taking on the responsibility for the design and technical coordination of multiple projects utilising the company processes, including effective communication of the design and management of the product and project workflow, advising regards continuous design, engineering and process improvement and resilience, increased productivity and establishing an open and collaborative design environment for all project stakeholders.

Experience with AutoCAD and Revit will be essential in providing key advice and guidance to both internal and external consultants. It would be beneficial to have experience in working in off-site construction and to have an understanding of BIM principals within either the construction or manufacturing industry.

My client has built an enviable reputation for delivering luxury,  new build housing developments throughout the Surrey and the Southern Home Counties for over 20 years.

Due to an increase in workload, they are to looking to recruit an additional Marketing Manager who will be responsible for helping to shape and deliver the marketing strategy for a number of upcoming developments.

You will be responsible for helping to devise and deliver the marketing vision and strategy for each of their new developments from conception through to the completion of the project including devising brochures, imagery, customer communication plans, the design of marketing suites, and launch events.

Excellent project management skills are essential to ensure that all internal and external teams are briefed effectively, follow agreed design briefs and deliverable schedules are devised and adhered to. The role will involve liaising with key stakeholders at a senior level from within the business and externally and so the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is key.
